About Anton
Though born into a Catholic family with European ancestry, Anton developed a keen interest in Eastern philosophies and traditions by his late teens. In 1990, whilst attending University, he commenced a regular practice of Hatha Yoga and began to study various Tantric and Vedic scriptures.

In 1996, Anton deferred from his Law studies and left for India. For the next two years he traveled all over, from the backwaters of Kerala to the foothills of the Himalayas, living and training with ascetics and mystics as he went. He was introduced to the practices of asana (posture), pranayama (breath control), mantra (sacred sounds), dhyanam (meditation) and homa (fire ceremony).

Upon returning to Australia, Anton established Yoga Alliance Australia and began to teach classes, retreats and workshops in both Yoga and Meditation.

"I am by no means a Sanskrit scholar, pundit or yogi. I simply wish to introduce people to simple and powerful yogic practices that are often overlooked by the yoga schools of today. Once your foundation is established in meditation and mantra sadhana, you will be in a good position to attract a real Teacher."
